Accessibility statement

Our commitment

This website aims to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We test it with automated checkers, by keyboard only, at small and large screen sizes, and with text enlarged.

What we have done

  • Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline and a skip link to the main content.
  • Text and controls meet WCAG AA colour contrast. The brand yellow is never used for text on a light background.
  • Headings, landmarks, labels and link text are written so screen readers can navigate by them.
  • Form fields have visible labels, required fields are marked, and errors are described in words and linked to the field.
  • The page reflows to a single column on small screens with no sideways scrolling, and works at 200% zoom.
  • Nothing on the site flashes, autoplays or moves on its own.
  • The spam check on our form is a simple arithmetic question written in words, not an image puzzle.

Using the accessibility options

Select the round Accessibility button at the bottom-left of any page, or Accessibility options in the footer. You can:

  • Choose a profile: Low Vision, Dyslexia Friendly, Seizure Safe, ADHD Friendly, Keyboard Navigation or Easier Reading. Each one switches on a set of the adjustments below in one tap, and you can combine them.
  • Text size: four steps from default to 150%.
  • Contrast: high contrast or a dark mode.
  • Colour: low saturation or monochrome.
  • Reading aid: a reading guide that follows your pointer, or a reading mask that dims everything except the line you are on.
  • Adjustments: more text spacing, a readable font, left-aligned text, highlighted links, a strong focus ring, a big cursor, and stopping all animation.

Your choices are saved in this browser only and apply on every page until you select Reset all settings. The panel is a standard dialog: Escape closes it and focus returns to where you were.

Your browser and device settings

The site also respects the settings you already use: browser zoom, your operating system's reduced-motion preference, and your screen reader of choice.
